i don't get the Agent Coulson love at all...but Maria Hill is a comic character i can get behind. glad she gets her own poster/wallpaper.

This guy is a mid-level functionary who regularly deals with supergeniuses in hi-tech armor, supergeniuses that turn into hulking beasts, Norse gods, hot superspies and costumed, time-traveling supersoldiers from World War Two, and he acts like he's a mid-level functionary who sells wite-out in bulk. His coolness is based on his blandness in the face of awesomeness.

@Captain Craig I already posted those wallpapers with the comingsoon link a few pages ago. They're old ones. I saw those yesterday and thought, comingsoon already beat them to it a few days before.

@Dennis...oh yeah that still has been debated about. I call Frost Giant/Skrull hybrid creature. I still wouldn't be surprised if they were called Chi'Tauri like after the Ultmates Skrull.

Coulson, thinking as he listens to Black Widow kick ass over the phone: "That reminds me...gotta tenderize those steaks as soon as they defrost...I'll do that first thing in the morning...wonder if I still have enough ground green pepper for the seasoning?..."

Theres something to be said for a guy who listens to a 'master assassin' kick a whole lot of ass over a cell and by all appearances is just listening to hold music.

Theres something to be said for a guy who can carry on negotiations/conversations with a billionare playboy in power armor one day and with a god of thunder the next.

There's something to be said for a guy who gets a close up look at a Asgardian super-weapon and voices annoyance that someone may not have told him something.

Theres something to be said for a guy who answers only to Samuel L. Jackson in a eyepatch, but you get the impression his personal life is the picture of normalcy- if it exists at all.

He is a island of bla'se in an ocean of awesomeness.

That makes him special.

It's Clark Gregg's awesome portrayal of Coulson that makes the character work for me. From that first time we saw him in "Iron Man" to what he's become now...just one of those weird awesome fan things when we latch onto a character we love I guess.

Agreed. He was always the best part of that New Adventures of Old Christine show, and I've gotten a huge kick out of him in these movies as well.

Looks kind of Thanos-y with the crown thing around it's head...we've seen the Infinity Gauntlet in "Thor" and Marvel showed it off at it's MCU display last summer at SDCC, so maybe they're connected to that. There have been rumours since "Thor" that Thanos would appear and have some kind of connection to the Frost Giants. Other than that I have no idea who they could be other than what I suggested above.

A diorama display at a TRU as shown up over at SuperHeroHype with a representation of what Loki's army of unknown/unnamed aliens will be.

Any clues? Does this help. Clearly a 3-toed alien at any rate.

As we've been discussing not so far. Knowing Joss' work and knowledge of Marvel, they will be something that have been in the comics before (whatever universe doesn't matter) or with a different name as I've suggested a few times (I think others have suggested as well).

The World Premire is tomorrow. This possibly means that spoilers from this and other early screenings could start to leak out pretty soon as we near May.

I agree with Joss' fight analysis. Natasha I think also would be too cocky and underestimate Buffy as well.
