How do you grade The Avengers?

It all depends on how long The Avengers stays in theaters. If it sticks around for as long as The Dark Knight did (select theaters continued to run it a full three months after it was released on DVD), then it very well could make up the difference. Let's assume for the moment that the DVD/Blu-Ray comes to us in September. That'd leave it in some theaters until December.

It might stay in theatres for that long, but it will be on so few screens (and, mainly, discount screens) that it's pretty unlikely it will be able to make enough money to beat Titanic. Still an impressive showing at the box office, though, no doubt about that. The Dark Knight Rises will have a hard time beating it (especially with a running time close to three hours).

Also the longer the movie stays in theaters the less the studio gets compared to the theater itself.

Read: "If you want me for Avengers 2 - MOAR MONEY NAO!" (IE - it's a 'lets negotiate" kind of statement.)

Nothing bad per se - just business as usual in Hollywood. :)
 
Black Widows usually kill their mates after mating. I don't think the joke has anything to do with the Black Widow character.
 
I'm still stunned that Avengers made more money in one weekend than Thor or Captain America ever did. Insane!

I've only been able to find Black Widow and Hawkeye. I saved one Hawkeye:

The nest is just a joke. I might put my Hawkeye action figure in it when he arrives- they said June, dammit! Where is he?

Black Widow and Hawkeye are on the Diet Dr Pepper cans.

In order to get the rest you have to look for the other Dr Pepper brands.

Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America are on the regular Dr Pepper cans.

Nick Fury is on the Dr Pepper Cherry cans.

Loki is on the Diet Dr Pepper Cherry cans.
