I'm starting to wish I had the money to fly to one of the countries it opened in so I can see it right friggin' now. I'm gonna be going crazy for the next week.

Just saw it...
Freakin' Awesome...
Great chemistry between the actors/characters helps selling the movie/story...

Guess I'll go read my new issue of Entertainment Weekly - awesome cover! That will have to hold me until next Saturday.

:bolian:
Ditto!
Just got home and pulled it out of the mail.
Great cover, I'm just hoping the article is spoiler free. Sometimes EW gets lax on those things.

Heads up for those that are weak for spoilers.

The post credits scene is up on youtube for now.

All I can say in a cryptic way is

I now have hope that Darkseid in future Superman movies can be realized.

That was a fantastically fun ride. All the heroes got their moments, good and bad, and came together in a very fun ride. The teaser villain was so cool, I hope the folks at Marvel can live up to it. Far more fun than Nolan's Batman films.

The usual, but not as uncontrolled as in his own movies.

On top of that he'll make you cry from laughing.
He's pretty much the secret star of the movie.

Yep, which I'm really glad about because Hulk has always been in my top 3 Marvel heroes. It's great that he's actually been in a successful film now!

Some of my favourite moments -

The guy playing that computer game on the helicarrier.

Captain America leaping over the cars like Spider-Man.

Hulk v Loki.

Hulk punching Thor.

"I'm always angry"...BOOM.

Actually that list could go on and on.

But -

Was anyone else left cold by Coulson's death? There were a few gasps in the audience but for some reason I didn't find it that shocking.

He got Wash'd. Typical Whedon MO and I don't think I hate that.

Get to see it tonight, can't wait!! It's awesome living in the Netherlands right now.!

I had figured that making the poll public might curve thy "for spite, fly by 'F' voter".

I mean hell, even the 2 "negative" reviews at RT aren't really that bad in context.

^

I refuse to believe that it'll be anything other than immensely entertaining and fun.

The EW article was a riot to read, BTW. Very funny and very few spoilers.

Maybe Xavier-Stora still felt it looked cheap, like he did two years ago. *shrug*
I can't say I'm familiar with the poster. He thought other Marvel films looked cheap? Two years ago the film was only in preproduction. The other thread lasted 22 months and covers that whole development span. Did he think spy photos and the such made the in development film look cheap? I don't recall his posts in the thread off hand.

Maybe he can answer. An 'F' grade just seems contrary.

For perspective I'm no big fan of Avatar but I'd never grade it an F.

No clue. I just had a quick look over his posting history and noticed those remarks in the old thread.

^^
Ah, I see what you mean. He was saying comments about "cheap" as recently as first of April. That's just a disconnect.
