Oddly, putting it on seemed to hurt Banner much more than Stark. Banner was screaming in pain from the moment he put it on. Stark seemed unharmed until he snapped.
That's true.

It's interesting that Banner said he was really trying to save Nat. It occurred to me that that might have had something to do with how burned his arm got? If so, it's not exactly clear to me when the process of attempting to use the glove for the purpose of the snap began, if it started right away when he put it on, and if so whether part of the distress he was having was because he was going to try to violate the operation of the Soul Stone.

One QQ from someone who only watches some of the movies.

Did Ant Man & The Wasp end with him going into the quantum zone exactly there with her being dusted before bringing him back?

Also, does Stark appear in the first Spider-Man or does their relationship come entirely from Civil War?

Yes to both questions. Ant-Man and the Wasp ended with this scene here, which sets up his appearance in Endgame. And Tony Stark appeared in Homecoming.

Something cool that I just found that supplements the above clip. The only problem is that it highlights the fact that it was simultaneously broad daylight in central Africa, San Francisco, and wherever Hawkeyes family lives.

If it were early morning on the West Coast of the U.S., it would still be daylight in Wakanda.

Some losers made their own edit to cut out the majority of the women from Endgame, as well as the humor, drama, and emotion.
Imagining the sheer amount of time and effort required to be constantly furious about women being in superhero movies is in and of itself exhausting, so lord only knows how deeply tired certain scum fuck sub-sections of the internet must be at all times. To that end, some moronic MRA deadshit has produced and is now sharing a version of Avengers: Endgame that wantonly strips most of the women from the film, and removes what the uploader refers to as the “gay shit” from the movie.

You might recall last year that MRA edge lords produced a cut down version of Star Wars: The Last Jedi that eviscerated the narrative for the sake of appeasing a select few edgelords who pissed their pants over women being allowed in space or whatever. The resultant butcher’s job of an edit ran for just 46 minutes, cut out “most shots showing female fighters/pilots and female officers commanding people around/having ideas,” and removed scenes in which Princess Leia “scolds, questions [or] demotes [Poe Dameron].”

The Endgame recut, uploaded to torrent sites by an anonymous user, takes a similar line.

The upload carries the title “De-Feminized Fanedit (Anti-Cheese Cut),” so-named because it removes Brie Larson from the movie entirely (anti-cheese? Brie? get it? got it? great).

Beyond yoinking Larson from the movie altogether, the list of amendments made to the film ranges from the mildly deranged to the outright fucking asinine. Initially, the cut edits out “most quips,” in order to “give more consistent serious tone,” which is bananas when you consider the chief complaint of that amendment is “superheroes should not be funny.”

Following that, the list gets even more cooked. In its own words, which we reprint here verbatim:

  • No Hawkeye training his daughter
  • No women leader conference, no gay support group talk
  • Moping/Dialogue/Filler in first act severely reduced
  • Any science babble that isn’t necessary to understand the story is gone. Nothing takes you out of a movie quite like pseudo-science.
  • Tony doesn’t ask his wife’s permission to save the universe.
  • Female sorceress gets scared of Hulk and just gives him the stone.
  • Tony doesn’t meet his Dad, Thor doesn’t meet his Mom, it’s pointless.
  • Sadly [Thor is] unsalvageable in general, but I did the best to make him more dignified.
  • Black Panther isn’t the first revived Avenger to arrive and gets a bit less time, he’s really not that important.
  • Women in final battle severely reduced. In particular Pepper has no business being there.
  • In general, whenever it felt like Marvel sniffing its own farts, that part is probably gone.
A direct hit on every wedge of the asshole dartboard you can think of, really.

The listing also happens to contain a string of neo-Nazi edgelord talking points and red flags, which initially lead us to believe the torrent might be a bait-and-switch troll hiding something more sinister in the video file. Remarkably, it’s not: We viewed the file, it’s legitimate, and it sucks.

Clocking in at just 1 hour, 25 minutes and 30 seconds, the cut manages to erase more than half the film’s runtime, which in and of itself is a remarkable effort. A truly demented one, sure. But a remarkable one nonetheless.

Imagine having the time to be this mad about something. Good grief.

So....what is it, just a series of establishing shots and action beats? Or just a three hour loop of Red Skull just hovering there?
Ok, so it does hurt you just putting it on, not just when you use it?
You'll recall what the power stone alone does to normal people. That plus the other five means most people would have been disintegrated in seconds.

I suppose there are ways to edit out Captain Marvel, and only leave Nebula in for the scenes where Thanos is getting information from her, but how could you possibly edit out Natasha? Do they edit that scene so Hawkeye pushed her?

Or go in the other direction. Add a scene that makes it clear Captain Marvel is really a man, pretending to be a woman to get the enemy off guard.

Pathetic hatefulness is fascinating.

I kinda want to start a Youtube channel where I hate-watch Incel crap.

I have seen fan edits of movies, "Christian" edits of movies and now there is "no women" edits of movies.

Some people really can't let there be any entertainment not catered directly to them go by untouched.

But I believe Hawkeye was established to live to live somewhere in the Midwest and Fury and Hill were in, I believe, Atlanta.
I think Wakanda is meant to be in the same region of Africa as Tanzania and Kenya, which are seven hours ahead of the US East Coast. So it's possible for it to have been daylight in all four locations, but it would have had to be very early in the morning in San Francisco (ten hours behind East Africa) and pretty late in the afternoon/early evening in Wakanda.

I guess the Bartons were just having an early lunch. :ouch:
