Paul Bettany is The Vision!

I thought Bettany made it known that he was content with just voicing JARVIS for the paycheck? This a pretty big upgraded role for him.

If Ms Marvel appears, expect her to cameo at the very end of the movie carrying an unconsciousness Thor and saying "Hey, I found this guy in the middle of the ocean. What did I miss?".

So the Vision news on Twitter last night.
With Ultron as the foe and an Ant-Man movie going into production in the next few months it was all but assumed(by me at least) that at bare minimum the seeds for Vision would be laid....this is even better!!

I guess it's okay for Paul Bettany to play two characters in the same film/franchise... it worked for John Rhys-Davies and Benedict Cumberbatch...

Hmmmm, lets throw another what if log on the fire. Since they announced that the guy doing the voice of JARVIS as the Vision, it seems to me they have just given away a big chunk of the plot. I predict that it is Stark who actually designs and builds ULTRON who then follows the path of the comics. ULTRON then hijacks JARVIS from Stark (possibly as a way of "getting back" on Stark and creates The Vision. MHO, your mileage may vary.

Edit: Instead of "getting back" at Stark, ULTRON means to neuter Stark/Iron Man be taking JARVIS. JARVIS controls a lot of Starks life, to take that from him can seriously cripple him.

Miss Marvel to appear in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron?

The big Age Of Ultron news to hit last night was confirmation that the man behind Iron Man's Jarvis, Paul Bettany, is taking on the role of Vision. However an additional little nugget arose from Latino Review, who reported that Ms. Marvel will also appear in the Avengers sequel.

According to the source, the final bit of "major casting" will indeed be Carol Danvers, aka Ms. Marvel. They say:

Miss Marvel is the last piece of major casting left in the movie... I'm not going to spoil HOW she is in it, but she is in there kids. The question now is who is going to play her? Katee Sackhoff was originally rumored so it will be interesting to see who Marvel gets for that part.

Yeah, there's a whole thread on the movie, so we don't need this. For awhile, the rumor was a one-shot. The movie's quite crowded but, hopefully, they could make it work. I wonder if they want to use these characters as a launch pad for Phase Four spinoffs rather than establishing their own franchises and bringing them together.

It's possibly worth noting that the appearance of a "Carol Danvers" does not necessarily mean that she's going to turn into Captain/Ms. Marvel in the movie.

Billy Dee Williams did not turn into Two-Face in Batman (1989).
Carol Ferris did not turn into Star Sapphire in Green Lantern.
Dr. Connors did not turn into the Lizard in any of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies.

Sometimes an Easter egg is just an Easter egg . . . .
