Avengers 2 News, Rumors, Etc. Pictures until release...

In regards to the movie overload thing, it's no different really than how it's been for years.

2003- Daredevil, X-Men 2, Hulk
2004- Punisher, Spider-Man 2
2005- Elektra, Fantastic Four
2006- X-Men 3
2007- Ghost Rider, Spider-Man 3, Fantastic Four 2
etc

It just happens now that, they're set in the same universe. Which is frankly what I always wanted from those films (and why I wish most of the above would revert back to Marvel too)

But it's not like you HAVE to have seen say Iron Man 2 to be able to go see Captain America 2, or have seen Incredible Hulk to go watch Thor 2 etc

Honestly, at this point I kind wish Marvel would just get back all of their stuff. That way we could at least get references to stuff from X-Men and Spider-Man even if they don't use their characters in the movies.

Disagree. If Marvel had all the character rights, you know they would put Wolverine in every single movie and put him on the Avengers team even if it made NO sense.

Wolverine should be in every movie. And I don't just mean Marvel films. I mean every movie that comes out ever.

And they should go back and insert him in every movie ever made. I'd love to see Wolverine in The Ten Commandmants, Pride of the Yankees, It's a Wonderful Life, When Harry Met Sally, Dances With Wolves, Apollo 13...

I had the same thought about Michael Ironside. He would be most helpful to any movie if they just put him in to every single film ever made.

I was unsure whether to post this in the Iron Man 3 thread or this one, but it's been longer since this thread was bumped...

The story for Avengers 2 will begin in Iron Man 3, but it a much more subtle way than the Phase 1 movies led into Avengers.

"I would say that the exercise of this film is very much standalone, more so than any 'Iron Man' film since the first one. But because we are in Phase Two and we're heading towards another 'Avengers' movie, there's certainly a road that's being paved — you just might not notice it," Feige told MTV about signs for The Avengers 2 in Iron Man 3. "While you're driving on the road, not knowing where it's going, you might not realize that there are road signs and signals and lane changes that we're setting up now — they might not be readily apparent the first time you see the movie."

Sounds good to me. I think that's probably the right way to go about it now that everyone's been properly introduced.
