Roughly 600 movie theaters (of a total of 1630 theaters) in Germany are boycotting Avengers 2 because Disney demands a 53% earnings cut, which would spike prices in smaller theaters up to €15.00* for a regular (non-3D) ticket.

The multiplexes here have had an ongoing battle with Disney over cinema prices and exclusivity windows for a few years now.
Multiplexes are the only place where most people in this country will be able to watch Avengers 2 at all, at this point.
They have had to give the 53% cut to Disney for quite some time now, which doesn't hurt them as much as they are able to broker more favorable general rental deals and are able to generate more revenue with food, drinks, etc.

Will probably live up (or down) to most people's expectations. Nothing more than you would expect for this type of film. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it. The humour worked for the most part. Overall, an entertaining spectacle not to be taken too seriously.

Short and to the damn point, that's for sure! The scene is dark and ill-defined. An object can be made out. Then, a door opens behind the object, revealing the Infinity Gauntlet. Thanos puts it on and simply says "Fine, I'll do it myself". Fade to black.

I just got back from an advanced screening. I really enjoyed it and felt it was better than the first. It does move at a breakneck speed though. Ultron is played beautifully by James Spader, and has become my favourite MCU villain. It was also nice to have the final battle not set in a major american city.
Agreed on all points. Spader/Ultron was fantastic. Great casting, IMO. Twisted as he was, he honestly believed he was doing what was best.
I was also surprised that the big battle set pieces were *not* in the United States. It's only fair Europe gets a bit roughed up.
Yup, £4.50 for an adult 2D ticket here in NI, £2.50 kids ticket. Usually add £1 to £1.50 for 3D, if they bother to charge more, I've seen some 3D movies where they charge the lower rate for both.
The Odeon in Belfast has the most expensive prices around, £11 for 3D but their theatres are high end.
I just watched Winter Soldier for the first time today. Wow, what a ride! It was much better than I expected. Is it wrong for a man my age to be hopelessly in love with Cobie Smulders? 
Iron Man 3 was OK, but I've only seen it once. Some of these movies take a couple of viewings to really hit me. I loved IM1. Iron Man 2 is another favorite, popular opinion be damned.
I didn't like the first Avengers the first time, but after seeing it several times now I've grown to love it.
Still haven't seen Incredible Hulk or either of the Thor movies. Just not really interested, but if I can catch them for free I'll give them a shot.
But I have a lot of confidence in Joss Whedon, and I'm looking forward to Age of Ultron.

I really enjoyed all of the movies--even the poorer ones are just solid fun.
Thor II and IH, for me, are the weakest of the bunch but still have their moments.
The fist Thor is completely different in tone from the other movies and is very much a fish out of water story. It serves as a "coming of age" story rather than an origin story.
IMIII I like just because it had a tough job following the Avengers. I thought it did a nice job acknowledging the Avengers while still making a decent Iron Man story.
Great movie once again 
It's enjoyable. A fun spectacle that moves along at a fast pace. Ultron was a really good villain, enjoyed Spader's performance a lot. But it does seem to repeat the pattern of the first film a little too closely. I thought the credits scene was a let down as well, I would have preferred a tease about a character we hadn't already seen.
I just saw it in a small local cinema with a small screen with 12 seats per row. As a result of the small screen combined with a lot of the action happening in dark or smoky places, some of the action sequences felt very busy and hard to follow.
Unlike the first Avengers movie which perfectly balanced story and action sequences, Age of Ultron definitely had pacing issues with the entire movie feeling like it had a split personality disorder. One moment everything's happening at lightning fast speed with action sequences and suddenly the Hawkeye, Hulk & Black Widow character moments dragged on and on...
Age of Ultron was also not very friendly to the non-comic reading audience, especially in naming the new characters. For example, I would have no idea Andy Serkis is playing Ulysses Klaw if I hadn't read about it. Also while walking out of the theatre, I overheard a comic fan started talking about the Vision and his girlfriend went "who?". The same could be said for Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch. Non-comic readers might as well refer to them as the Flash, the girl in the red jacket and the red faced weirdo.
Despite these issues, I'm giving Age of Ultron 4 out of 5. Its a great installment. I loved the Hulk and Black Widow scenes. I loved the role Thor's hammer played in the movie. I loved most of the action sequences.

In one scene Ultron calls him his vision or something similar and then suddenly in the next scene Iron Man is saying that Vision is going to do something. I dont remember that they would have called him "Vision" earlier in the movie. Suddenly his name just is Vision.

And I think that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch never got names in the movie. Just Pietro and Wanda. Maybe something to do with Quicksilver being so prominent figure in the recent X-men movie? They didnt want to name Quicksilver, so they left out Scarlet Witch's name also.
And to complain about my movie theater.. They didnt turn brightness high enough. 3D glasses always shade eyes little bit, so in my opinion 3D movies should always be brighter than normal. And some movies have been. Maybe they just forgot. That led some darker scenes little bit too dark and it was difficult to follow some fight scenes.

Yep Ultron was a great multi-faceted villain. The best villains are the one who firmly believe that what they are doing is the right course of action (a trait shared by Vincent D'onofrio's Kingpin). Ultron was chilling, funny and I loved his relationship with the twins. I definitely got the vibe that he actually cared for them and had he succeeded in his plans they would have been part of his new world.
