Avatar Contest: Number Six

Man, there are lot of great entries this time...and it's only Tuesday! :techman:

They've been playing Number Six's run on public television where I'm at. I've got to see it all except for the end of the trial which I've got taped -- yes, taped! But I found I really liked him. At times I could really #1 in him. It's too bad things couldn't have worked out better behind the scenes and what not.

But anyway, WillsBauble, is that a recent picture of Colin Baker? If so, how recent?

It's recent-ish. How recent, I don't know. I think he might be a bit heavier at the moment. I chose it because I think he looks urbane and friendly, not usually things I associate with 6.

^Actually, I've read where he's lost a lot of the weight he put on during his "drinking" years. Last shot I saw of him he looked stocky, but not neccessarily the pork-barrel he had become. Same with Tom these days...

"Eat, drink, and beat Peri."

" : The Colin Baker Years" LMFAO!!! :guffaw:

Did you just come up with that out of the blue? Put the pot down! ;)

Yeah, I mean no disrespect when I say the term "pork barrel"....except to call them extraordinarily fat. I swear, after seeing that cameo of Tom in that horrible "Dungeons & Dragons" movie (shudder!).....he was huge!! However, as mentioned, they have both lost a considerable amount of weight over the past couple of years.

Here's the most recent picture I've found of Colin...

That's cool, he's definitely lost alot of weight. I recall a friend who met him a few years back saying it was harsh but that Colin would most likely be the next to go given his obvious unhealthiness.

^Oh I agree. From what I've read, Colin is honest about the fact that he went to the bottom of the bottle after his son's death. Couple that with the crushing blow Doctor Who was for his career around the same era, and I can see why he went down that path. I'm just glad the guy is still standing, head-high... :techman:

People of the universe, please attend carefully. The following information is vital to you all:

  • I'm shutting it down for a Vote Thread by 7pm (Eastern-US).

Now go forward in all your beliefs, and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine...

Okay, we're done. I'm making the vote thread now.

Thanks to everyone for playing! :techman:
