Firstly an apology for being so tardy in setting up a new contest, thanks to everyone who voted for me last time out.

The subject of this contest is the family members of companions. Mums, dads, brothers, aunts....you name it, if there's a blood relation to a character I want to see them. I think there's a fair few characters in both Nu and Classic Who (heck Martha alone provides 4 options). There are some exceptions. The first is the Doctor, yes Susan was a companion but this is a Doctor free contest (although obviously he might show up in your avatar but he shouldn't be the main focus of it) The second is that said family member shouldn't be a companion in their own right-the lines here might be a tad blurry but as a rule of thumb this means someone like River is out, but someone like Jackie is in. Finally a possesed character doesn't count. So Tremas is fine, but the Master looking like Tremas is not.

Sorry that felt like a lot of rules, but that's it other than the usual 200x200 pixels etc.

Three generations of a family; Kathleen Dudman, Dorothy (last name unknown, possibly McShane, possibly Gale) aka Ace and Audrey Dudman.

I'm curious if your rules allow Peri's stepfather Howard, as you say "blood relation"? Spin-offs (K-9 and Company's Aunt Lavinia and Brendan*)?
Off the top of my head, the only qualifier pre-1980 is Victoria's father (unless you count Dodo's supposed ancestor Anne Chaplet). Then several 80's companions have a family member feature.

*EDIT - I was under the impression that Brendan was a relation but he was Lavinia's ward, so not a relative.
