Australians - plans for Australia Day tomorrow

So with tomorrow being Australia Day - what are you planning on doing?

I'm planning to head to Sydney tomorrow. Gonna visit a few museums (to escape the heat), then watch some stuff on Sydney Harbour and finally find a pub and enjoy a few beers, while listening to some of the Hottest 100.

My son and myself have been invited to a BBQ. It is only meant to reach 21C here tomorrow.

Happy Australia Day, Australians.

It's going to be hot, hot, hot tomorrow, so I'll probably stay inside and write, maybe watch a vid, read this fab online comic I've found.

One of my kids is going to the Big Day Out (yearly one-day open air music festival).

(Well, I say music, young people today...)

I'm going to stay inside and avoid the unlivable heat of this country, and do what I do every day. Don't see any reason for doing anything out of the ordinary.

So true. Didn't feel that bad, but I was spending a lot of time in air-conditioned buildings.

I saw loads of people heading this morning. Thankfully there was a special train for them.

Interesting, the music of BDO is better than a lot of music on commercial radio.

I had a wonderful day. Now gonna eat some dinner.

Took it easy. In the morning I spent it in the pool listening to the Hottest 100. Early afternoon I listened/watched the cricket and played Internet. Then back into the pool for more Hottest 100. Also had a family BBQ and then lounged in a state of half alive/half dead from too much sun, too much booze/not enough water, and too much red meat as I watched the our cricket team lose.

So in other words, I had a good day.

A quintessentially Australian day, my hat goes off to you sir.

Well, day nearly over, temperature dropping at last. Was a quiet one, spent reading, especially when we had a blackout.

Had a nightmare of a day at work yesterday. The idiot manager was in charge and we had kids on the phones. What a mess.

^^ I was kidding; we call it a Blackout here, too. But a Blackout can also be a... um... mental lapse, possibly caused by ingestion of certain substances. :D

Eh? What do you men, blackout? What are you talking about? What? Where am I? And why am I wearing a miner's lamp and a tutu?
