Great to see Dinoraul's Bolladon put to good use! Have you considered applying highlights or a procedural to his skin, thus allowing him to better live up to his name? Yeah, he seems to be crawling within a pool of slime, but as it is, the bugger must have Teflon coated scales at the moment.

I made a quick try at doing it in PS, but didn't like the result -- that's the one thing left to do I think, make him slimier...

The drawing of the Denebian Slime Devil from the Starfleet Medical Reference Manual did make it on screen in a DS9 episode.

Its not exactly unknown. And I would still choose the one from The Worlds of the Federation, since they did it first, and it really looks like an extraterrestrial frog. Sorry, but nice try!

Well the DS9 appearance would be a problem, the WotF isn't canon... hmmm.

although the illustration appears on-screen, it's pretty small and i don't think it's ever specifically noted as a denebian slime devil.

I guess it's WinstonSmith's call then... I don't recall that moment in DS9 so I can't really judge it myself.

I like the dockport craft a lot. It and elBaz are small enough to fit in the Stargate even. You know, having a ring type warp sled as opposed to the more standard vulcan version might be interesting, a mini ringship for the dockport craft, like:
