Here is my entry for this month's challenge. Go easy on me! I'm a long time voter, first time participant.
The song that inspired my entry is "I am not a robot" by Marina and the Diamonds. It's in heavy rotation on my ipod. If you would like to watch their trippy music video, here's a youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_oMD6-6q5Y
The lyrics to this song are quite meaningful and I felt they related well to Seven's internal struggle between her Borg and human halves.
When Seven was first severed from the collective, she didn't care if she was hated by the Voyager crew - She was Borg and refused to pretend to be something she was not.
As she got used to the idea of being an individual, Seven turned to the Doctor and Janeway to help explore her humanity. But she was often frustrated by her inability to experience the full range of human emotions. Her Borg components prevented her from being fully human.
Hopefully it doesn't look too Harvey Dent-ish.
