Audio dramas you'd enjoy hearing

Sad thing is. Ive searched to see of I could find any quality star trek radio dramas. There are a scant few dramas and of poor quality. Ive found nothing of great quality. Nothing with good writing, acting or sound effects. Ive never found anything that even measures up to a 45 to 50 minute TOS episodes. Below is an example of a old record drama that someone added TOS sound effects to. Not a good story or acting..

A prequel series based around Garek’s life before Deep Space 9, with it ending when he arrived on DS9 for the very first time. It would be like secret logs to himself based on various missions he had done for his career. Where he actually fully tells the truth about what happened in his past as he is only talking to himself.

A series with just one character with the events from his perspective.

It's been done.

Wow. I can't believe what I said really is real.

I want something like Sid and Andy's "Alone Together" audio series. I loved that mystery and I loved the other characters who appeared along the way.
I want more Read Along Adventures. Give me an "Into Darkness" read along

There was this trilogy of Captain Sulu stories set on the Excelsior. That's something that's still doable.

Here is an audio Captain Sulu story that HoloNet Audio did. It's fanfiction audio, but it's a fairly well done story that's also a sort of prequel to "Relics."
STAR TREK: Ever Upward

It probably won’t happen but I would like to see something along the lines of how Big Finish Productions brought a bunch of Dr Who actors back to do a series of original dramas only for Star Trek. They could bring in entire casts of TNG or any of the series to do original stories. It would be so great to see a DS9 or Voy follow-up in audio form. They would have my money in an instant.

The Romulan War seems to be the perfect setup for Enterprise cast to reprise their roles. Heck even the original premise of no Romulan ever being seen during the war as mentioned in TOS seems like the perfect premise for an audio drama.

I must say, I do love how technology has gone in so full a circle that audio dramas are popular now, almost a century after their invention as radio dramas.

I'm not really aware of them being so to be honest, they're popular in niche circles like Dr. Who where it allows old stars to reprise their roles but that's really it. I mean the Star Wars franchise which is the biggest franchise there is couldn't even get Corey Burton or someone at least trying to sound like Christopher Lee to be Dooku in the Dooku Jedi Lost audio drama.

I do too. I stumbled upon a whole YouTube playlist of audio dramas, specifically detective stories. Plus, there are still radio stations I hear with it.

A niche, perhaps, but definitely an enjoyable one.
