attention girls: embrace your inner...

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

page 6!!???

May, i suggest gymnastics instead of something that involves kicks and punches. :p

Scatta, just act like a teenager and everyone will think you are one. that's what i do.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

I was wondering where this went... I am absolutely exhausted tonight... Last night, I was on munchkin duty until 1:45AM...
Taking care of a one-month-old, a 1 1/2 year-old and a three-and-a-half-year-old for almost 7 hours is tiring. And I spent five hours with the 1 1/2 year-old and the new baby in the morning...

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

DS has been a bit of a spaz for the past week or so, and I think I finally figured out why, and it's not exactly his fault. Apparently, when a boy is about four, his body generates a wash of testosterone to help his development, which makes him, well, a spaz for a while. And, yeah, DS turned four almost three months ago. So, it's not really his fault that he's running in circles through my kitchen, climbing the refrigerator and the cabinets, and reacting more aggressively to the slightest affront. But he still needs to learn to channel and control himself, which we are working on.

Peach, I bet you're tired!!

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

This thread is once again making me grateful that I don't have (or watch) any kids. The only sad part is that my Mamaw probably won't get to hold a great-grandbaby, as I might not have any kids within her lifetime.

daeana Why would acting more grown up than I already do be helpful?

blab I forgot to say happy birthday when I saw the cake in another thread...what day was that?

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

As much as they grieve me sometimes, I feel very blessed to have those two curtain climbers in my life. There's not anything better to me than having the whole family on the loveseat snuggled up together, piled up warm and safe and happy. It's just too good for words, really.

And, on that sappy note, I'll change topics.

I just scored five bottles each of Loreal Vive Pro shampoo and conditioner for...are you ready for this?...not one single penny. :D :D :D

assuming you actually like/want the stuff, yay.

in other news, it hurts even more to sneeze or cough when my uterus hurts.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

I actually do like it. But, even if I didn't, at that price, I can ship a set to a female soldier and/or donate some to the local women's shelter.

It's win/win to me. :D

*sets up the bar*

It's been a while since we had alphabetized drinks in here, hasn't it?

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

*pulls up a chair and gets comfy*

did someone say alphabetized drinks? :D

*sigh* May, what did we say about shoplifting at HEB?

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

I know, I know. :o

But this wasn't HEB!! Honest.

It was Walgreens. :D

I'll consider myself warned for a few months from now when my young charge turns 4...
And you bet I'm tired! :) I slept almost 12 hours last night. And that was aided by a dose of Tylenol PM...

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Oy, I need to do a little complaining. Went shopping today, trying to find some lighter summer pants. I'd love to wear those cropped styles, but today absolutely nothing I tried on fit. I'm normally okay with my figure, but today...*sigh*.

I'm probably pms-ing too, damnit. Are we still having drinks?

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Have a strawberry daquiri! :)
I got a new pink empire top, a bouquet of pink-purple roses and a USB drive for myself and a new pair of jammies for my niece.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

^^ tops are so much easier to shop for. Yours sounds pretty! And yay for strawberry daquiris. Mmmmmm.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

^The top has to be returned, unfortunately. Darn my 38D bustline! I have to get an X-large top...

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

i have like monster shoulders and a giant ribcage, so tops can be a total pain sometimes.

thus, most of my wardrobe consists of jersey knit sleeveless or cap sleeve stuff.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Has anyone else ever tried to use this thread to track their cycle?

I wish I'd vented about it the last two months, but I was too busy venting about stress and sleep deprivation instead. Now, I have no idea when to be expecting a visit.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Yeah, actually, I have. That's how I realized my cycle shortened by two days.

It's a living history, this thread. ;)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Hehe, I accidentally posted in the wrong thread. Anyhoo, I'm early this month by about 5 days. This also is one of those times where my uterus has decided to hurt.

Luckily I've got a house full of chocolate and nowhere to go :)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

being on the pill makes it not so necessary to track anything.

i so need to buy like boxing gloves. or a punching bag. all i wanted to do while my uterus hurt was hit stuff. and wii boxing wasn't doing it. i really wanted the feeling of actually HITTING something more substantial than air.
