attention girls: embrace your inner...

Re: attention girls: embrace your innerds.

Yeah...
My maternal instincts kicked in very early...
In unrelated news, I got a permanent for the first time in 17 years today... My hair has been so lifeless lately that I finally asked my hairstylist what she thought a perm would do. She thought it would do well. She was right. My hair is rather curly right now.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Haven't had a perm in years! I did get about 5 inches chopped off me hair this afternoon. No more pulling my hair back into a ponytail for a while. :)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

haircut? eek!!

perm? eek!!

my version of a ponytail is actually a knot. the full length is just impractical, and the knot shortens my hair to about waist length.

^You obviously haven't had a chance to read what I posted in the AL a couple of days ago, Daeana. :D

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

^Did something bad happen to your hair?

Father's Day was a success. The CD that I made for him off of iTunes burned and the quiche (sp?) didn't!

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

If I see one more thread about fat people or skinny people I may just have to start one about average weight people. :p

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

*insert rant about fat/skinny/average people here* :p

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

[just saw the new subject line and cracked up] Oh, there are SO many places I could go with that!

I just had hair inspiration come to me in a dream. I won't go through the details of the entire thing, because they were non-issue, but at the end I was at this party. I looked in the mirror and saw the cutest hair reflected. Unfortunately, even in the dream it didn't quite work "as is." Though, it was an improvement on the current drabness, even without fixing it. (The colors were too light and too red, thus making me look Betazoid with my dark eyes, and the cut was too juvenile.)

Has anyone else ever dreamed themselves with different hair? Did you like it?

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

i had a hair nightmare where it was only waist length. does that count?

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

I want to have a baby. Just one. I was waiting for my friend to finish getting her Charbuck's drink and I had my hand on her 4 year old's head to keep her from running off and I got the weirdest feeling...kind of like sadness. *sigh*

Somehow, I gotta find a way to ask my DH to try. He will say no. I don't care. I'm going to have to bring out the big guns.

I'm 33 freaking years old, it's now or never.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

I'll have kids at some point, but brother, it's hard work. I'm nannying for my next door neighbors four days a week, and... well, let's just say it's a good thing I go to a family friend to get my hair done. I fell asleep in the wash chair while she was rinsing my hair after color... :o

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Yeah, I'm under no illusions children are "Easy". lol. That is why i only want 1. It remains to be seem if I will ever even conceive 1. I have my doubts.

Incidentally, I decided something. If by some miracle I get pg I am giving birth at home, provided I don't have some kinda complication. I hate hospitals.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

No posts in a week???

I have jokingly declared Saturday after next to be "Bra Day." My mom needs bras too, so I'm going to try to drag her out with me.

I'm not particularly fond of hospitals, either, but... if and when I have kids, I WANT DRUGS, DARNIT!
Maybe not an epidural (if I passed out when I had a blood draw, I can only imagine what my reaction would be to that needle...   ), but painkillers are fine... Yeah... painkillers...

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Scatta, VS's semi-annual sale is on now until, um, i have no idea when.

sign me up for massive amounts of painkillers during childbirth, if i ever experience it. i'm a bit wary of epidurals, but painkillers are a gift from the gods!!!

oh, and divacup kits are 10% off at lunapads. :D

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

I loooooved my epidurals. They were WAY better than the painkillers during childbirth. (The painkillers were great for afterwards, however.) :D
