Quick question a propos nothing in particular - is everybody else getting those UGO Sexiest Death Scenes ads all the time on this site, and are they upsetting any other women here?

Have any of you noticed that once you hit your 30s you get really horny just before your period? I mean, I ain't complaining, but this is weird....

That's what I figured, but I was getting a little worried.
They're basically "Watch women get tortured to death, it's soo sexy!1!" with pictures of half-naked women in obvious distress.
I'm usually pretty straight-edge about putting up with ads where ads need to be to pay for things, cause yeah, I get the guilt thing. But these are seriously distressing. Think I'll probably just lurk here less for a bit. I guess they're bound to go away eventually.

There are ways around that.
We're gonna have a 4 year old visit us tomorrow so we get to start kid proofing our place a bit. It shouldn't be too bad as he actually is really good about boundaries and not touching what we tell him not to.
But I was thinking it'd be fun to let him paint so I have to round up as much as newspaper and plastic covering as possible.

It's all regarding children. Do you have them, do you want them, do you know you'll never want them? However you feel, I'd like to know what drives that desire in you to have children or not. Have you changed your mind? Or could you see yourself ever changing your mind?
I know I'm leaving it kind of vague, but I'd just like to hear what your own desires and experiences are on this topic.

At this point, I'm happy either way. If I have them, fine. If not, that's fine, too.
I have them - a girl and a boy. Before my first was born I swung wildly between wanting them and feeling totally incapable of managing and so being scared of having children. So it took a long time after getting married before I got pregnant
EDIT: Thanks for the advice about the tulips. They're still shining beautifully in the sun
