attention girls: embrace your inner...

That is no fair, we had a lovely 50 day yesterday and today we won't break freezing.

Mr. Winter and I are going to have a little talk.

Feel free to send any snow MY way. We don't have enough of it!

Say, whatever happened to the OP of this thread Daeana?

we're supposed to get up to six inches of snow Friday night.

But it's almost March. That's not right. :wtf:
Tell me about it. Luckily, we didn't get six inches; I think it was closer to three.

We're having a girls' lunch tomorrow. Tex Mex and margaritas. :techman::techman:
That sounds like fun. I miss Tex Mex.

You are more than welcomed to all of it.

I don't know. I haven't seen her in quite a while. Hmm...

Lunch with the girls was awesome! I got trashed on Margaritas and made some new friends. We're going to San Antonio next month and spending the weekend on the Riverwalk.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch!

I miss my friends in San Antonio. :(

In other news, I've hit a crossroads. My doctor has put me on new happy pills that have not yet started working, and it's obvious my olds meds have left my system.

My students had better watch out tomorrow!! :o

Ugh, that waiting period for them to kick in is the worst thing in the world. You have my sympathy. :(

Agreed. And just as bad, forgetting to take one and then needing two days to re-adjust. Like I did yesterday. :scream: Stupid Effexor! I didn't realize how damned powerful it is until I missed a day. Not doing that again...

You know, the readjusting could be even worse.

Damn, being married to a Catholic is all nice and everything right up until Lent rolls around. Now I have to come up with non meat dishes every week.

I have a fancy Mac & Cheese one I'm gonna try but does anyone else have something good?

I've never been there, but some of my friends were thinking about doing a girl's weekend trip out in San Antonio in coming months.

^ I either go there for work or to show family the Riverwalk. The last time I was there, I got wasted on a hurricane at the Hard Rock. The river kept moving closer to me, but I managed to get into my hotel safely.

Nobody ever warns you about the river moving around and trying to trap you. :( Better bring river repellent gear if you go.

Good luck with finding dishes, the only non-meat dishes I eat are pasta (and even that has meat in often enough) or jacket (baked) potatoes.

If you're at all into ethnic food, there are scores of lovely Indian vegetarian dishes.

Lovely!

I got my new swimsuit today! I'm so excited! (Yeah, strange, I know, but I really am!)
