Do many of you guys write fanfic? I'm very entertained by the fanfic on this board, cause I'm so not used to the idea of male-dominated fanfic spaces. So do you guys write 'fic, (not just Trek, any fandom), and if so where are you posting it?

I haven't read much of this thread yet, maybe I have a wrong impression, but I am gonna have to dodge rotten tomatoes if I say, can we have a "girly" or "women's" thread without talking about periods?

I agree with this completely, but am incredibly amused by the juxtaposition of your comment and your avatar. That's going to need some damned heavy-duty concealer.

Switching topics- Make up! I love going to Ulta to get new stuff. I need to do my nails tonight. The problem is deciding which polish to use.
^Mmmmm, make up! I need to go to Saphora this weekend to stock up. I want a nice dark chocolaty brown eyeshadow; usually I wear a golden brown but I want something for a more smoky, evening look. I also need a classic deep red lipstick. Next weekend I'm attending a Chinese New Year's party with a 1930's speakeasy theme. I have the perfect dress, and it's royal blue and red. I need some red lipstic to match.
I'm not sure what shoes to pair it with, though. I might need some new pumps. I feel like pairing it with red or blue would do no justice to the dress, so I'm thinking black or a dark chocolate brown. If I go with the brown I'm also going to choose dark brown nail polish.
I also need to get a pair of fishnet stockings with a seam up the back, a red clutch with a Chinese-inspired floral pattern, and a red feather fascinator for my hair. I can't wait for this shindig!

I use Essie, and I love their sheer tones. I alternate between Mademoiselle, Ballet Slippers and Real Simple. They make my nails look really polished and natural, but I still get a little bit of color.
