At last - something that looks like Blade Runner

A company is proposing developing a form of floating hotel/cruise liner.

Looks cool and, most importantly, it looks like someone's finally come up with a relatively realistic proposal that actually looks like something out of Blade Runner (especially that second picture in the slide-show).

I mean, that nanite-built mile-high city outside Tokyo that's been proposed makes for a cool Discovery Channel documentary, but it'll take 100 years to build that.

To be fair, the German dirigibles of the 1930s were floating cruise ships with staterooms in them that went all over the world.

....and they found out what dealing with highly flammable hydrogen is like with the Hindenberg.....

Lindley's right, it's basically a luxury dirigible. This is really not anything new really.
