(This may appear elsewhere in some other forum - I seem to have lost the first one I posted. Apologies.

After much hemming and hawing, finally bit the bullet and had this made as I realized that I was never going to get around to it.

4 empty space for possible new ships, hoping for Enterprise from Discovery.

That was fabricated for me by my brother-in-law as a Christmas gift in 2001.

No, those are full size Hallmark ornaments dating back to 1992. Removed the power wires on a number of them as I never actually used them in a tree.
    Hanger measures 48" x 31". Star in the middle is 20" x 12".

I really like natural wood like that, grains flowing, wooden hanger would look great just by itself. :)
That's why I might want a natural finished electric guitar someday, again.

I pondered what to do and how to do it. Could have been done on MDFB and then painted or laminated but the edges just would not have come together well enough for me. Decided that solid wood was the way to go. Brought the design to a local Woodworking shop and the cut it on their CNC machine from oak. Then I applied two coats of stain and the grain and colour came out very well.

Hopefully I'm not going too far off topic but wouldn't that Starfleed logo make a great design for a V shaped guitar and that graining with it would ne nice.

V shaped guitars have been around for forever. Google 'v shaped electric guitar' and look at the images . It would not be much of a stretch for create one and have the pickups in the star, but it would have to, somehow, be connected to the rest of it.

Ignore the top stuff, look up:

I'll stop stealing your thread after I say that I've been playing guitar for more than 20 years and have had a V shaped guitar among many. :)

Now, back to the ornament display. (sorry)

There must be. :) Someone tell this person that this display looks nice, I'm pretty sure someone here likes it but hasn't admitted it yet. :)

Nice. What's the ship at the top?

(edit - The AGT Enterprise? I never noticed the hanging bits below the nacelles before)

Lets hope nobody tells you to "Blow up the damn ship"!

I like it, but what is the black ship under the Borg cube? I don't remember that one.

It's a small attack fighter which Picard and Data steal when they are on the Reman ship 'Scimitar'. If I ever need extra space, this is the one that will coming down.

Yeah, you have four spots. Four future hero ships could be La Sirena from Picard, the Cerritos from Lower Decks, a Section 31 ship, and the Discoprise (probably on the middle star).

Other ideas: the Kelvinverse Enterprise-A, the Enterprise-B (or at least an Excelsior), STO Enterprise-F, a Tholian spinner ship, the Sarcophagus, Earth Spacedock, K-7, a Jem'Hadar battleship, the Narada, a Daedalus class, maybe a D'Kora.

Discoprise (probably on the middle star): that's what that spot is for. Would Like ENT-B and a Spacedock.
