Astronaut Mike Finke

As some of you may be aware, NASA Astronaut Mike Finke appeared in TaTV.

What you may not be aware of is that Finke will be the commander of Expedition 18 on board the International Space Station. In the pre-launch news conference Finke appeared in a NASA blue jumpsuit with a gold stripe along his shoulders like a certain commanding officer.

Fincke and another NASA astronaut, Terry Virts--both big Trek fans--did cameos as engineering technicians.

Fincke spent six months aboard the ISS in 2004. I'll be he's thrilled to be going back up there again.
