Provided to James Bond (Agent 007) by "Q," this modified DB5 is the ultimate weapon for the ultimate spy, armed with features such as smoke dispensers, tire deflating spikes and ejector seats. The car served ably until being retired and put in storage in recent years in favor of newer auto models.




GOLDFINGER

Third movie in the highly successful franchise based on Ian Fleming's character. Sean Connery plays MI6 agent James Bond (007) who's mission is to thwart the plans of Auric Goldfinger, a gold merchant who intends to attack Fort Knox. This movie marks the first appearance of Bond's legendary Aston Martin DB5.

In my teens a local guy owned the Goldfinger hero car and would bring it out for parades and such (he also had a Rolls just like Goldfinger's, though I am not sure if it was the actual film car). I have seen it up close many times and even sat in it once! A real classic beauty, and iconic in movies.

It's iconic, but I'd rather have a DB6. Same car with better ride, more leg room, power steering, and the kamm.
