Ayo first thread, who dis?

Just a 130-meter (?) Daedalus with NX nacelles. Shifted the neck to be more centered. Using a rough size of the NX thrusters, it basically leaves the whole body free for cargo/shuttles. Could be a converted carrier or be a torpedoe ship. And I put the deflector dish on the front of the sphere because I like it there. Sue me :p. Considering in the Romulan War series, the old Daedalus were modified with NX-technology, this could be canon :p.

The length of the Daedalus body is 150 meters. The Nacelles are ~80 meters. They add about another 30 meters.

Regarding the neck. a bunch of different ideas. Could have multiple hardpoints for cargo, extra weapon pods, emergency shuttles, etc... Personally prefer the latter, since the idea is for the crew to inhabit the sphere and be able to run to the neck where they can evac, instead of running down to the engineering section.

The front half other cylinder should be shuttle control and weapons ops, I imagine that gold pod as some kind of multi-firing torpedo launcher. Or if the shuttle bay runs the length of the ship, its like a Battlestar hanger pod. Shuttles/fighters - can be launched or fired from either side and go back in either side.

Shuttles, of course being the NX-era shuttles. And fighters... if I had to imagine, repurposed NX-Alpha's. Same size as the Phoenix, but armed with a single phase cannon or torpedo launcher. Maybe automated drones.

I tried to scale the Y/J freighter cargo pods. They're waaaay too big to fit on the shaft of the D. But you can fit ~4 dozen shuttles on the neck. Just hanging out there....

Quick glance, looks like the engineering section of a Connie, with upside nacelles. And a fanciful sail and horn.

Did a quick doodle couple years ago.

Behold, a non-nudist Andorian!

The exoskeleton is more apparent and thicker/plate-like. Andorian's wear a triangular poncho wrapped around their waist and split into two long tangles.
 
The Vulcan Cruiser did not survive the printing process.

Speaking of, this half-finished DKyr is what I imagined the CRS as before we got the CRS.

It fit the manta-shape a lot more than a resized CCS.
