Assassin's Creed sucks

Hm, yeah, a 2012 release for AC3 would make sense, unless they want a third historical setting then a purely modern finisher in 2012.

Napoleonic France would be cool (as would Revolutionary America, China anytime up the 19th Century, or Stuart Britain) but Victorian London would definitely be my choice- loads of secret societies, nice high buildings, and Desmond's Ancestor Vs Jack The Ripper (or being accused of being Jack - everyone would freak every time he stabbed somebody) would be cool.

Of course, you've got a ready made descendant of Ezio and real-life assassin who could bridge both Napoleonic France *and* Victorian London- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felice_Orsini

I would love to see them actually do a game farther back in time, like Ancient Rome or Egypt or something like that.

If it's AC3, I hope they avoid the temptation to do feudal Japan (which the designers have previously claimed is a favourite among the options they were considering) on the simle grounds that, well, Tenchu Z already exists...
I was hoping for Napoleonic France, myself, as it would be a natural progression of the storyline, and the spies and espionage angle could be very well played. (Nevermind the rich locales you could get, including the infamous Paris sewers). You could also have the story easily show how the United States got the apple before burying the damn thing on the moon.
Yeah, Revolutionary France was my choice, but Napoleonic France could work, too.
