Capt. Pike has been helpful with some decisions I have had to make; but I wish it would have used an appropriate musical cue from the first season, rather than the second. 
I asked the Captain if Trek XI would suck and he said yes.
However, I also asked him if state sovereignty should prevent quangos tasked with a certain amount of foreign affairs oversight from organizing transnational relief efforts in the context of natural disasters or genocides as opposed to more formal aid efforts, and he said yes to that too, so he's obviously in a pissy mood about something.
