Aside from being a shade dark & windows painted dark gray, this is a phenomenal bargain! I'm making the windows white with white contact paper- it's now the best toy I own!!!

Only me. I have to say that's one nice looking little model right there, you got yourself a genuine bargain. The photo looks excellent.

$44 after counting in paint & batteries. The only better-looking Enterprise I could get would be the Master Replicas one, but it's about $1166 dollars more than I wanted to pay.

Axeman, where can I get a decent Enterprise from the new movie- are you aware of one? I got the Playmates E, and it lights up rather nicely, but it's skimpy on detail, and is filled with visible screws & copyright lettering....(!) Also, the paint job plain sucks. It's too light gray. I spent 3 days on my Art Asylum/Diamond Enterprise, but I don't fancy spending three weeks on the Playmates JJPrise!!

ETA: I just did an exhaustive internet search- no luck. A model is coming out from Polar Lights, but no word precisely when.
Oh well.
