  • Hold back the tears!
  • Recreate the heart-wrenching scene!
  • You can't live without this!
Hold back the tears… because Kirk can't! Get ready for the Star Trek feature film with this 2-pack featuring the biggest names in the Star Trek universe-- Kirk and Spock. Accurately sculpted by Art Asylum, these 7-inch scale remarkable figures are only available in this limited 2-pack that recreates the heart-wrenching scene in which a distraught Admiral Kirk can only look on as Mr. Spock (who heroically sacrificed his own life to save the Enterprise and her crew) slowly dies before his eyes. Both Star Trek legends include special accessories from the film, as well as multiple points of articulation. No true trekkie can live without this!

I love Art Asylums TOS figures as well as the WoK ones, and when I heard about this release I couldn't believe my eyes, what an awesome figure-set this would be!

Granted, making it at all made me happy, as it is without a doubt the most touching scene in cinema history (for me, personally) and my favorite Star Trek scene, but I'm not all satisfied with the finished product, maybe my hopes were up too high or maybe I was expecting too much from them. The set has everything except from the very thing that makes the scene in the movie so brilliant! No see-through wall or anything. So we have 4 different hands, different points of articulation, and... no wall? I just think they could have added that to the set, I don't know how I will recreate the scene now, buy a frame and put them on each side of it? :vulcan: Wouldn't look too good if you ask me.

Anyone here have this set?

I have the set. Over all, I was satisfied, though it could have used some accessories. Like maybe that device Spock was messing with that got him killed.

Yes definitely that too, I think it would have been much better if they did a (pretty) big diorama instead.

Plexiglass works wonders. You could get a small sheet from any hardware store and cut to size.
