Location pictures of most of the cast together have surfaced online this week. Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin are with them dressed as Arrow and the Flash. But it appears that they really are filming the Pilot already and not episodes of either of their own shows. Of course there could be some over laping of scenes.

And we still don't have a title? I'm starting to wonder if the title is some kind of spoiler for something in an upcoming Arrow or Flash episode, and they don't want to reveal it until that episode airs.

I have been thinking the same thing. I would share the pictures but I can not find them anywhere other than Facebook or Twitter. Which you probably have to be logged into see the links.

Caity Lotz is there but you can not see how she is dressed. Professor Stein is there but no Ronnie Raymond. Her presence and his absence might be tied into the finales of both shows this year. Along with the premise and title of this show.

I don't know much about it in the comics other than Ray Palmer's involvement, but could it possibly be a take on S.H.A.D.E.?

The usual "grain of salt" caveats should be kept in mind, but it's being reported that John Wesley Shipp has referred to the new spinoff as Legends, and has said it'll be 13 episodes (though that's a typical initial order for a lot of shows, so it could get a back nine later on).

If that is the title, it's kinda cool. I've been trying to think of a good name for the overall CW DC universe -- "Arrowverse" doesn't seem to fit when Arrow looks like it's going to be kind of the odd one out tonally -- and maybe "The DC Legends Universe" would work.

I think Legends is a great name for a series. I hope it turns out to be true.

TNT already has a tv series named Legends though. I don't think that there can be two series with the same name the air at the same time.

^Good point. I guess that makes it unlikely to be the final title.

Well, David Ramsay mentioned the title specifically AS "Legends", several times during his panel at the Calgary Expo this weekend (sorry, no video, I was there).

He also mentioned that he finished filming the Arrow finale this past Friday, flew to Calgary to do the Expo that morning for the day and Saturday, flew BACK to Vancouver for the wrap party, and then BACK to Calgary to finish the event. Apparently Stephen Amell did the same thing except that he came up on Saturday after finishing filming at 4am. Wow.

He otherwise didn't mention or spoil anything, except that they had him in a week or so ago to scan his face. He literally didn't know what that meant, though he implied that he could have a different look next year (with a custom-fitted mask like what some of his co-stars have). Then again, it could be an action figure scan, as we've seen them do for other shows.

He noted that the whole point of Diggle NOT having a costume was to provide a grounded counterpoint for everyone else who WAS wearing them, however both he and the writers acknowledge that his constantly going out with street clothes and SOMETIMES a ski mask is stretching things too much.

Which just means it's the current working title. Given the TNT show with the same name, it's unlikely they'd be able to keep it. Which is too bad, since it's a good title.

Yeah... It's time he got his own team uniform, as it were.

I'd be fine with "The Brave & the Bold".

As for what to name the universe, I've started to refer to it as the DCW-verse lately. I like the 'C'-as-connecting-letter thing.

Its obviously not Legends. I know that TNT show is not that high profile but I am surprised how many sites are unaware of it. It being on at the same time would be an issue alone but that its on TNT which has the same owners as the CW makes it impossible.

Booster Gold is Rip Hunter's daddy.

Their connection was amusing because Booster had been a fuck up for for 20 years first.

Could they just add DC Comics' to the title making it DC Comics' Legends, would that still be to close?
