^ Ah yes, I faintly remember those days. The sleeping in, the watching of too much tv, the eating without restrained. Those were the days. I miss yesterday.
But because I have already ditched my new resolution of writing at least a paragraph before I return here, tell me, which episode of the X-Files did you watch? I've just recently re-discovered the show.
The episode I watched was, according to the episode guide I've just looked up:
6.16 Alpha -- first aired BBC1, Saturday July 2000 A rare wild dog, thought long extinct, is imported from the Far East. But it kills two crewmen and escapes. Then it goes on a killing spree. A local canid expert, who has met Mulder on-line, calls him in, for reasons of her own. But the dog, and its importer, may not be all they appear. [A disappointingly weak episode.]
I actually thought it was a pretty good episode, but what do I know? I'm happy as long as Mulder's onscreen.
Well, I lasted about four hours. Then I discovered that I left an essential document at work, in my university office. 
I had to come back online to check the bus schedule. It runs just once an hour, which means I won't be able to get back to writing for about two and a half hours, god damn it.

I work in a restaurant.
I'll correct my statement: There is one computer in the office, but I never have any reason to use it, nor can I even get to it unless a manager unlocks the door. And even then, I'm not allowed in the office without a manager present.
The computer is also password-protected, so I couldn't use it if I wanted to.
Typical. It's getting late, I can go home, and voilá, the internet is alive. You people in different time zones make me sick.
I agree with the last part, but it still wasn't enough to pull me through the sixth season. I stopped there, never made it to the ep you mentioned. Just didn't feel like X-Files anymore.

I'm at work. I do this in between calls, or sometimes during calls, which probably makes my posts a bit incoherent at times. I work in technical support for barcode scanners.
