Are we still "Watching DS9?"

I'll always "still be watching" DS9, with a brief break here and there. It's a classic

Of course.

TOS: Never grows stale, original and nostalgic. Despite knowing all the lines by heart I can watch it daily.

TNG: Bland and boring with characters that are too perfect. The great episodes are outstanding, but most of them are yawners.

Voyager: unwatchable then and now with few exceptions.

DS9: Fantastic writing, fantastic stories, individuals that grow with their situations.

ENT: Still fresh and fun.

Explain that to me. This is a completely legitimate discussion and the question posed is concise and in and of itself worth its own discussion.

Anyway, I am currently watching DS9... again. All year round I watch each series in order (chrononlogically). Currently I'm at the second discs of Season 6 of DS9 and Season 4 of Voyager.

But, I'm a trek junkie and it's just part of my life. :thumbsup:

I watch it. At the moment I'm in season six and just watched "Valiant" and "Profit & Lace"

Yup of course. I've currently on "The Emperor's New Cloak," which was okay. After I finish Season 7, I'm starting on Season 1, which does sound strange I grant you, but I only originally bought Seasons 4-7, because I believed they were the only "good" seasons. But there was a thread on here a couple of weeks ago praising the first few seasons, so I thought I'd try them out too.

As for TNG, I've just watched "Skin of Evil." After this season, it's on to Season 2, and then for muddled purchasing reasons, Season 4.

Hi everyone!

I just watched several of my favs, the 1st six episodes of season six last night and " His Way." Long night. Love that one.

Thought I'd pop in and read a thread or two.

Yes, I went back to season 1 and have been watching in order - glad I'm not the only one who purchased out of order. I'll be watching "Duet" (yes, I'm now up to season 6) sometime this weekend - a creepy Dukat ep!

Cool, but Duet is the second to last episode of Season 1 (the best episode of the season by far). I think the episode you're refering to is Waltz and I say that because that's the episode that I always accidentally refer to as 'Duet' simply because in my head it seems like an appropriate title for the episode. In fact, i was just thinking last night after watching Resurrection that Duet would be coming up soon, and then I corrected my brain and said waittaminute, 'Waltz.'
