Quick question regarding Warehouse 13. I am just catching up on it. In the second season, did they move to a different town or something? I don't see much of the warehouse anymore.
Serialized storytelling can be great, like with Babylon 5, but when it becomes mandatory for all shows because it's fashionable, then it's just awkward. Some concepts are just meant to be episodic. Sherlock Holmes didn't need an 'arc' (or to shockingly kill off Mrs Hudson)-- each story was complete and satisfying. And that's what TV writers need to do-- write a good short story for each episode.Personally I just love seeing a big story take on a life of its own especially when writers meticulously develop it and take their time in introducing the characters, setting up the threads, throwing in complications, twists, turns, cliffhangers, revelations and seeing it build to a fever pitch. There is nothing quite as rewarding for a viewer.
