Are Terminators good cooks?

I noticed something while watching my Blu-ray Terminator 2: Judgment Day the other night that I know I'd seen before, but I just never gave it much thought. When the T-1000 is at the Voight's house, John's foster parents, waiting for John to arrive and terminate, John calls to warn them.

When the Janelle T-1000 answers the phone, she is clearly chopping up celery (or, at least a vegetable that looks like celery) and even tells John that she is making beef stew, until she gets annoyed at Todd and kills him.

Now, my question is, I wonder, to what degree, the Terminators have been programmed in culinary arts? We know that Terminators are programmed with detailed files in human anatomy to make them efficient in killing and the T-850s are programmed in psychology, but, to what degree can Terminators cook?

Can they prepare a delicious filet mignon? Can they cook up a helluva pot roast or swordfish?

When Skynet fails, the remaining terminators will open up a chain of restaurants! Fatten everyone up and make them too slow and unhealthy to fight back.

Depends on the mission profile. They have been programmed with basic meal recipes in some of the novels for meals that are high in protein and assorted vitamins for their synth skin as well as any humans they may be operating along side.

Didn't the T-1000 also "read" personality traits by touch or something? (It's been a while.)

Cooking is as much art as it is combining ingredients. So while a terminator may be able to create any dish it has in its programming, it would lack the "flair" that is the art of cooking.

I expect most of their dishes contain 10% less than the lethal dose of salt.

But seriously, it should be fairly simple to assimilate information from a cookery show, and that should be all they need.

I'm sure Savannah Weaver doesn't live off TV dinners.

I saw T2 for the first time in years, just a couple of weeks ago, and had exactly the same thought.

It is a pretty weird scene, when you think about it...

Terminator- I have basic cooking parameters...........but I can never perfect the souffle.

*blows the souffle up with a sawed off shotgun*

Terminators have been known to open up Canadian restaurants: "I'll Be Back (Bacon)"

Or collaborate in the opening of a Planet Hollywood

I'm sure dey have detailed files.

Rind zester, please.
