I tried this in another forum, but someone messed things up and put the thread off track.
Maybe it'll work better here.
I thought I'd had a Trek font on my old computer, a wire thin version of the font used to spell out the onscreen title for the series "Star Trek: Enterprise". When I found what seemed to be the right font and checked it out, the font window opened displaying a duplicate of the "Federation Classic" font.
Finally I found a Trek fan site here-
http://www.unet.univie.ac.at/~a8612692/trekfont.htm
They had Trek fonts, and the third font shown was this one, exactly what I was looking for

I downloaded it on my newer computer (this one), and when I opened it...
The font window showed the Trek TNG font.
I don't know if something's wrong with my computers, if something's wrong with the font, or what.
If you have confidence in your computer's protection, would someone please try downloading the font and see if the font window displays lettering like the sample, or if you're having the same problem I am?
Thank you.
