Are Cadbury's Diary Milk on crack?

Re: those Cadbury's Diary Milk adverts on at the moment. Sorry, but WHAT... THE... FRAK... ?! :wtf:
Well, you remember the advert AND what the product is AND started a thread about it, so it's obviously doing something right. ;)
Thing is, Diary Milk is kinda of like say Coca Cola, in that do you really even need to advertise it anyway when everyone knows it. Might as well have an advert for knifes and forks
"Do you have trouble eating your dinner? Keep gettign your hands covered in bean juice and gravy? Well why not try our amazing new product- knives and forks!"

These remind me of the "Mister Plow" episode of The Simpsons. Homer has a commercial made for his snowplow service and it turns out bizarre and surreal.
And of that Planet Express ad in Futurama's "Future Stock" episode

But that's the point, to keep their brand in your mind when you go to buy chocolate.

Wow, those are...really long. Commercials in the good ol' US of A are only about 30 seconds, so if they suck at least they're over quickly.

LISA: Dad, was that your commercial?
HOMER: I don't know!
You should see the new hovis bread ad

I've never actually seen any of the new Dairy Milk ads, just heard about them from other people. But they'd be a damn nice change, because since the only commercial TV I'm watching at the moment bar F1 races ("Rock it! Yeah!") is Dave (for Top Gear repeats), it's all mind-numbing insurance/100% compensation lawyers ads and those bloody Halfords bumpers.

Cadbury-Schweppes are corporate cocksuckers who decided to pack up their factories in Britain and move them to Eastern Europe.
