what's the google helvetica thing? all i see is Gmail Motion which HAS to be a joke, right?

Got to Google RIGHT NOW, and do a search on Helvetica.

Every technician at my company got a "pink slip" and instructions for applying for unemployment instead of the customary check or statement today..(on the back in small letters it stated "April Fools")...We had one worker just simply leave after that, until management frantically called him back informing him of the small lettering on the back...

Management was amused until they realized other workers were about to go home and they could lose significant production over the prank...

And they say management has no sense of humour...

Seems about right.

We had a good one in TNZ., There's two posters, Kestra and Kestrel. They swapped avs and sigs for the day.

If you type helvetica into Google, the font changes to Comic Sans.

Oh does it? It just defaulted to Times New Roman for me, because I've always deleted Comic Sans from my computer because of how awful it is
No wonder I didn't find it funny, but Comic Sans would have been a hilariously cruel April Fool's Day joke.
