Since we only have a few options here, and I'm late, I'm going to try and get this overwith quickly. You'll have until Thursday evening to make your choices.

With so few entrants, obviously you'll only get one vote.

No self-voting...it's a very tacky thing to do.

With all due respect to Garm Bel Iblis, "Uncommon" was just a fascinating read and just slightly better than "Death of Kings". It also gave me an idea to make the Hobus supernova an unnatural event, which solved my timeline problem for my own story.

And for the record, "Death of Kings" was a great turnabout for the great General Chang.

in the comments section I praised Death of Kings-and then said that Uncommon surprised me because I didn't think anything could top it(...Kings). Then I read Timmy's entry. In the end, I went with Mari but each entry was amazing-I'm just sorry there weren't more. I had a story-but no time to complete it. I should have pushed to get it written. All 3 of you-(Eddy Izzard voice) Very well done!

I voted for Death of Kings. Garm created a very sympathetic character in this Chang. The two sequences I liked the most were the defeat of Sherman's Planet (chilling/sad) and Chang and Kor in the forest eating the targ.

Timmy's was also very good, although it took me two reads to figure out what was going on. Both Timmy and Garm mentioned having a lot more back history for these stories... I hope you'll both consider writing the unabridged versions.

And thanks for the votes! I really liked writing Benevolent Nero (instead of Frakking Insane Nero) and I'm pondering playing in my JJAU again... although not until I finish some other stuff. I really need a due date and word count on all my projects, just to get it done!
