I'm glad they kept to the "found footage" idea, I think it worked well.
The seriously claustrophobic nature of life in the Lunar Module was done well. I didn't know about the hammock arrangements or that the astronauts wet-shaved - assuming that was accurate - it gives an insight into what it was like being an Apollo astronaut.
I've seen the trailer a few times.
The Blu-ray just got released and I was reading a review on High Def Digest.
I think it sounds like a very modern film. lavalier body mics were used. If an approach to limiting the frequencies were taken it would feel more realistic with the 1960s bandwidth-restricted transmission of the audio as well as heating/air conditioning/oxygen supplies in the lunar module as a constant background and changing room tone from different microphones used.
I'm just not interested in seeing this film. It could have been something else but too much horror aspect for me. They could have made it more psychological like Solaris or Moon.
i didn't want to post here because it hasn't been active in 10 months: Apollo 18 trailer.
