I thought that tomorrow is such an important day that it warrants its own thread rather than just covering it in the Down Below thread. hopefully some British/Canadians etc will also join this thread.

Is anyone planning anything special?

I am hoping to go to the Parade as I cannot make the Dawn Service and I should be back in time to see the Dawn Service live from Gallipoli.

Ia will post photos of the Parade.

Does anyone know anyone who will be at Gallipoli tomorrow?

A Happy ANZAC Day from this (almost retired) soldier. I will certainly be hoisting a few with friends tomorrow as we do every year. As I think about it, perhaps we should this evening as well, because if memory serves me - it's already Saturday there now - and if I wait until tomorrow, it'll be too late.

It is a little after 5.30am and the Dawn Service from Canberra has just started.

Looking at my bus timetable I won't be able to get home in time to watch the Dawn Service from Gallipoli but I will be able to watch the Dawn Service from Villers-brettoneaux. I will also watch the Lone Pine Memorial Service which is on at 6pm. In between I will get my copy of Gallipoli out and watch it.
