Anyone's opinion of NEM improve because of "Star Trek: Picard"?

No, Nemesis is still my least favorite Star Trek film. That said, I am thoroughly enjoying Picard, and NEM does do a good job of filling in a few gaps that might otherwise exist had I not seen it.

I'm not sure. There's probably a bar somewhere and we never saw her onboard but she could have been offscreen. I just couldn't stop laughing about the idea of some poor bartender looking out the window and seeing Shinzon's ship getting closer and closer...

There was one in a deleted scene in NEM, which is shown in the film during that sequence, being destroyed. It always bugged me that Picard didn't seem to evacuate the forward saucer decks.

Irregardless of the technical inaccuracies and mistakes, it's amazing how many people miss the whole point of the movie. Data was killed so he could become the new and improved version of himself in the form of B4. Just as Shinzon wanted to become a better version of Picard, and himself, but failed miserably. As Picard comments (not in so many words) throughout the film, to Shinzon and Data, that one of the greatest things someone can strive for is to become a better person than he/she was the day before. To constantly be struggling for self-improvement, and not only that, but also to leave the world a little better than it would have been without your existence. How in the world can anyone find anything wrong with that? You'd have to be a pretty cold, callous and dark-hearted dystopian nihilist. I'm also surprised at the terrible reception the film got by the critics, who found the moral of the film to be somewhat of sentimental and sappy. I disagree completely. It might not have been the best of the series, but I believe it was a lot better than most people think. As a matter of fact, perhaps a just little bit better than most of what came before. . . ‍♀️♂️♀️♂️☠️⭐✨

Afraid I don't agree with that view of the Nemesis script. I believe Data was intrigued/excited by the discovery of B4, and had hoped to teach him and help him grow. I actually saw it as similar to Rain Man. He would have been his caretaker. Brent was kind of thinking, this is getting ridiculous that I'm this old and playing a person who doesn't age, time to go. In regards to the OP, since I just finished Picard, I would say that his death was granted far more dignity and purpose with the series plot. Nemesis remains a terrible movie, for which Picard cannot rescue, but as with IMO other terrible plot choices in Star Trek '09, the Picard series finally expands and makes sense of the "world" that is largely in tatters following the death and destruction of the movies and series over the past 20 years.
