Anyone watching NBC's "Crossbones"?

I love shows set in the age of pirates so my interest was peeked by the TV show "Crossbones" on NBC about the famed pirate Blackbeard. I have come to really enjoy it. The plot is engaging. You have of course different characters all with their own agendas. The height of the show though is John Malkovich as Blackbeard. Malkovich is an excellent actor but he especially shines as the infamous pirate.

Anyone else enjoying this show?

I like it a lot, pirates are almost always entertaining (ok, not if you are near the coast of Somalia). When I first heard John Malkovich was playing Blackbeard it was a bit... :cardie:, but as he always does, he delivers!

I watched the pilot, thought it OK, but have not got back to it. You guys make it sould like it could be worth watching. 'Black Sails' only just makes it wortth watching, plus the season ended at a weird point.

You guys should read my pirate movie script, now THAT would be a cool movie! :)

... only it's a bloody uphill struggle to get it to anyone. :(

I've been watching it. Actually, it's been pretty good. The writing has been fairly good and there's a very good cast. I'm liking it so far.
