Anyone still play Star Trek CCG (1E)?

better to just use my yahoo contact since i probably wont be checking these that often hardly ever go into forum type pages...

Played it back in the nineties. Also collected the 1E Premiere, Data Laughing, Warp Pack and Alternate Universe. Complete sets. Neatly organised in a binder.

If anyone's interested, I'll sell the complete sets as whole. I can also help you with missing uncommons and commons (Premier BB edition), as I have a ton of spares.

PM me if you're interested.

sorry lack of funds right now but would take you up on your offer of getting help with cards...i need to try to aquire more cards for game deck filler cards since my original stash was swiped i atleast still have the folders with one of every card that i had before the person made off with them. then i also awhile back managed to buy a couple boxes of some of the newer sets for 1st Ed. that i didn't have previously. (i.e. Holodeck Adventures and The Motion Pictures sets...) are the cards you have English or in a different language since you are over in Europe right?

I bet whoever swiped them was really pissed that they got nearly worthless cards - lol - instant karma can be fun sometimes.

well like i said they got all my extras...i had doubles of rares and one or two extra Future Enterprises and other UR cards that i happened to luck out with getting in packs

Yeah, I just meant there's no resale value to the Trek CCG cards - not exactly a thief's dream come true unless they're a huge Trek fan.

ahhhh ok understandable...or if they find a company/collector store that has a big demand for ST: CCG cards lol which at that time i don't think there really was a high demand...it was around the time that it was starting to die down...shortly after Voyager was released...right before The Borg set came out...

Yeah unfortunately the only set worth a lot of money now is the Motion Pictures and All Good things...everything else can be found for pretty cheap (compared to what it used to be valued at).

I loved 1E, but unfortunately the player base just disappeared. I still have thousands of dollars worth of cards (well, they cost me that - probably worth nothing now) that are just gathering dust.

The Continuing Committee is a nice idea, but it's nowhere near me, and I'm not sure how quickly I'd pick it up (especially with the new cards).

I do have some unopened packs which they might find useful, though...

I tried completing the set as they got cheaper on eBay, and as the Aussie dollar soared, but I can't really justify what I need to pay for TMP and AGT.

If anyone's looking for 1st edition trades, feel free to contact me. :)

I really think you should look into www.trekcc.org - there are several people in Australia. Recently they even split the continent up into 3 regions to better accommodate people and try to cut down on travel.

If not I may be interested in acquiring people's 1E cards (please PM me).
