Anyone play the MGO Beta?

Just wondering... the beta is finally up... but has anyone bothered trying it?

I gave it a shot earlier this morning and everything works alright... I just don't like the gameplay at all. The cover mechanic feels broken, in light of Vegas and Gears and even GRAW... and it feels like everyone is moving through syrup or something.
And because it's the fad of the day, there's also a leveling system for new unlocks and whatnot.

Also, I'm not sure what the point of CQC is... maybe there's some gameplay reason that I'm missing, but I figure it's better to just shoot someone in the face than CQC them.

I dunno. For all the work it took to get into the game, I feel very underwhelmed... I'd rather go back to Vegas 2, even though people seem to think the new patch broke the game.

I have it, but I can't be bothered playing it. Mario Kart Wii is where I'm at for the moment.

I have it, but I couldn't be less interested anymore.

Konami's inability to provide an acceptable registration form (as if they needed one in the first place) threw us all back to 1994. It wasn't just that the server couldn't sustain the traffic - that form was the most god awful example of web 'design' I've seen in 10 years of suffering. I don't think I need a 'Konami ID' in the first place, much less one of them AND a 'Game ID.' And of course, they have to be different. And don't use any capital letters. And your Game ID password can only be numbers, but your Konami ID password has to be letters AND numbers.

So with that, the 500mb patch on top of the original 750mb download, the delay, and yet another patch, I'm afraid the ship has sailed. Mario Kart Wii is so much better anyway.
