Anyone pick up Dreams for PS4?

Didn't see a thread for this, so i thought I'd start one. Picked up Dreams a couple weeks back, and I'm enjoying it. I find the 3D modeling a challenge because I'm used to doing it on a computer where I can turn off an axis or two when I need to to line something up, but can't do that in Dreams. So I spent four hours working on a simple robot that took me 30 minutes on my computer (with more detail added). Hopefully I can get more efficient at it.

There's really a lot to learn and to their credit I found the tutorial videos to be both fun and engaging. I'm not so much interested in making games so much as either some short films, motion comics or art. I've got ideas for all three, but so far I've just done some art. If you're interested in getting it, I'd definitely figure out what it is you want to do (art, music, game making) and then watch some video tutorials just to get a feel for what you're looking at getting into. It's a bit intimidating seeing some of the sheer brilliance and then looking at my own stuff. LOL! Keep on keeping on I suppose. One upshot was that I was able to create a slightly less cool looking version of my Star Trek 1955 Enterprise (with rocket flames!) and do a simple camera flyby. Sadly, it's not getting the effect I really want to achieve yet.

Couple of pics I did last weekend:

If anyone else has any art, music or games they created, please post.

I own it on PS4 and agree that there's a lot to learn. The game can feel really daunting but it can be rewarding and fun when you focus on smaller creations.

Landscapes are probably the easiest thing to make. I love messing around with textures and lighting. Something as simple as making realistic grass or a body of water is just cool. I want to recreate an old Halloween themed level from Little Big Planet. Maybe it'll transform into a massive area that a camera can move through rather than a 3D platformer. That's the beauty of this game - you can literally make anything and remix the results..

I'm not 100% comfortable with character sculpting yet. Luckily there are a lot of helpful tutorials on youtube out there.

I haven’t tried sculpting a character yet, but I have modified the deluxe puppet. Had less luck with the standard one though, even though I’m doing the same thing IIRC.

Like you, I’m enjoying making landscapes, but have only done a couple. Nothing as gorgeous or big as some of the stuff I’ve seen. Hope you post some pics soon!
