Anyone knows how to construct a Borg outfit

Looking to construct a Borg outfit for a short I'm doing about Star Wars vs. Star Trek. Any suggestions would be appreciative.

Construct a Borg outfit? Sounds like a lot of work. Probably cheaper & easier just to get assimilated.

Hmmm..not sure about that one.

Maybe black or gray sweats or spandex. Then basically spray paint everything a metal or dull gray......

Maybe use foam for the padded areas? Not really sure

Good luck. Hope you get good ideas and inspiration.

But that's much less fun.

I don't know what your budget is, but if I was going to do this myself I would probably find some cheap Lycra/spandex/close fitting black clothes (jogging bottoms and a sports top from a discount sports store). Then I'd head down to a hardware store/DIY store and buy bits and pieces of home improvement stuff - pipes, switches that kind of thing. Then I'd buy spray paint and spray 'em black or sliver or something. Then to the fancydress outfitters for some face paint and latex glue. You can attach stuff to your face and skin with the latex glue. Superglue or similar can attach the other stuff to the fabric of the garments. Oh, and something to go over my hair, a do-rag or something in black. Well, that'd be my plan of campaign.

I have one that I've been working on for the past 15 years, though I've made a couple of others that only took a day or two to put together. BMX chest gear, rollerblade and baseball shinguards, black moonboots and random toys from thrift stores work great. Photos of my Borg costume

Click on "View my Pics" link and you can view my "Borg Costume History" album. I also have several short videos under the "View my Videos" link. :borg:
