It's been since the end of Jan since his last post. I've sent him a couple of PM's with no response. Apologies if this has been brought up before, tried using search to see if there had been a post but it didn't work. Anyone have any info?

If I were to hazard a guess, I would suggest that the person in question has been engaging in activities which have precluded him from being able to post on this forum.

Oh I'm well aware that people have lives (I wish I had one myself 
) I believe NX was heavily involved with his work. I just hope nothing bad has happened to him is all. He's missed in the Smallville threads.

I also think that people should not have to explain their absenses. If nx1701g has not replied to your PMs, it probably means that he doesn't want to. People have a right to be forgotten.
Oh I'm simply curious that's all. I'm not expecting an explanation of anything and of course they've a right to be forgotten. These were not the responses I was expecting at at all lol. I probably should have not bothered to post this now...
Alternatively, he might not have his account here set up to e-mail him PMs, so he might not know they've been sent and might welcome being remembered.

I agree, but I think the suggestion of googling his username to track his activity online goes beyond being simply curious.
To draw an analogy: In real life, people can be reported as missing, but the majority of the time, the police will discover that they're not "missing persons" at all, because they've moved away of their own free will.
People don't have a right to know where or why, which can put the police in an uncomfortable position, when people back home are anxious for answers.
In an online forum, there's a large degree of expecation that people will come and go without explaining why or announcing that they are, so I don't think an absentee would default to a being a "missing person".
Yeah, I don't know if I have PMs until I log into the site. I've had PMs that have been waiting for me for days.

If anything I was hoping to ease your concern with "no news is good news", and then giving my opinion on M'Sharak's and RJ's posts, which imply going in search of nx1701g.
