anyone know Google Analytics?

I am part of a tiny company that sells products online. Sales have been pretty steady, and I was instructed to use Google Analyitcs to find out more specifics as to how we are doing. So I entered our site, and proceeded with the analysis. However. the information doesn't match reality at all, it is saying that we have no sales and that all our visitors are in Brazil and that we have no bounce rate, no conversion rate, etc.

Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong?

My guess is that Google Analytics isn't showing your past activity, just from the date when you starting using Google Analytics. I guess. Did you insert that bit of code into your website?

Yeah I was going to ask about the code but if you hadn't done that, you'd get a flatline.

And how do you know for sure that you aren't getting a lot of visitors from Brazil? Do you have anything to compare Google Analytics with?

My company gets stats from our hosting service as well but frankly we trust Google Analytics more.
