Anyone Know Any Good Future Fanfic?

XKin

I am interested a lot in the future of the Trek universe eg. seeing the 26th century Trek in detail.

So, could anyone tell me about any good fanfic set in the future?

*Sorry if this is the wrong section just for a question*

This is exactly the correct forum for your question, actually. :) I believe someone around here wrote a couple of stories about a 27th century starship sent into Species 8472's fluidic space... but the name of the author and series title escapes me at the moment. :( They were good quality fanfic, too.

I don't know how good it is but I wrote a future Trek story called "Ad Astra". If its buried too far back on this site you can find it at HopeStation.net There's an active link in Zephram Cochrane's signature line to the website and I use th eMistral name there too. Like I said-I don't know how good it is but it definately takes place in the far future.

Yeah. It's too bad you, like, forgot the author and everything. That sounds like stuff I might like to read.

Okay, Mr. Smartypants. I figured it was either you or Camelopard. You forget, I read a lot of fanfic. ;) So, you got a link to this stuff, or what?

Isn't there a link at GuardianoftheGalaxy? And another at CeJay's site? I read a lot too-and I can't always keep track of what's where.

No. If there are links, they're the ones Mistral mentioned. I only provided links when I used the material for contest entries.

XKin: I'm working on a few "Work In Progress" ideas for TNG, (Post-Dominion War & Post-Nemesis,) concerning Dr. Katherine Pulaski & Lieutenant-Commander Erika Benteen (Series: "Star Trek: Mandela"), Captain James T. Kirk (Series: "Star Trek: Exeter") & Captain Morgan Bateson (Series: "Star Trek: Vonnegut"). I'm thinking of canceling & ripping-up "Exeter" & 'melding' the ideas from "Exeter" into "Mandela".
