Anyone in Chicago with AA/DST Ent-D?

Does anyone know what retailer or comic book shop in Chicago is selling the Enterprise-D/AGT Enterprise? I would like to purchase the item at an actual store than online. (like to do my part by shopping at smaller Mom n' Pop shops). Thanks!

Nope. Just looking for local shops that might carry the DST/AA Enterprise-D and AGT Enterprise-D. I haven't had much luck. Most comic book shops say they never heard of it. Go Figure!

I stopped by a few on the south side of chi-town today too, none even carried them let alone in stock of any AA stuff.

You might try Chicago Comics. They do have AA material in stock but I don't know about the E-D

If not, Dark Tower will order it for you.

I might catch some flack for this, but Gaymart on the corner of Halsted and Cornelia tends to have some very kickass stuff, including the Art Asylum TOS Enterprise, Enterprise-A, and Enterprise-E side by side. Another wall is covered in nothing by imported Doctor Who merchandise. God, I love that store :)

I haven't been to the store lately, but I've been planning on going soon to see if they have the AA Enterprise-D. They've been my go-to place for anything Art Asylum, really.

Dark Tower doesn't have any.

I emailed them asked if they had any in stock or could order them, all I got back was "nope, sorry" Wow, swell.

A lot of actual retailers, including mom and pop stores, still refuse to sell Trek related merchandise after they got stuck with so much merchandise previously. Believe it or not, however, I did see a TNG Enterprise at my local FYE (but I'm not in Chicago) so you may want to check one of them.

This is actually a good sugestion! This place is great for genere lovers. They do tend to have some great stuff. Plus its not too far from Chicago Comics.

Another option is Alternate Reality on the far south side.

Well any of the 'Graham Crackers' and 'Amazing Fantasy' comic shops will NOT order them on the south and west sides. I also stopped a several smaller shops and asked about them and they don't carry them and don't seem too interested in ordering them either as you have to do it by the case.

I have not been to Chicago Comics nor am going to gaytown to look.

I can almost completely assure you that no one will hit on you if you say that you're looking for the Enterprise-D :)

You haven't seen me, especially in uniform, I am one sexy mf'er. lol

Well, if you put it THAT way... I mean if there's one thing people around that store like, it's a man in uniform :)

I had the good fortune to visit the store around Halloween, and admittedly there were a group of "uniformed personnel" for the holiday: Army, Marines, Navy, National Guard, and yes, Starfleet. Go nerd pride!

Anyway, back on topic, on another thread I saw you visited a dozen stores, to no avail. Perhaps calling ahead would help convince some owners to order it for you? I know I want one.

Dude that's unfortunate because Chicago Comics is the city's premier comic shop. I also happen to know that they do carry AA and Playmates Trek Merchandise.

Just give them a call if you have a problem just wandering overthere to check.

There is also a game shop right next door to Chicago Comics that has AA Trek toys as well.

There is a shop in Lincoln Square called Quake that specialises in genere toys and action figures. They have LOTS of Trek toys, but most of it is from the old Playmates days. The place is overflowing with vintage and modern sci-fi/fantasy toys. If they don't have one they might be able to get one for you.
