You're gonna need a bigger antenna for space

A few people had CB/Ham radios where I grew up. They had something like 30' towers for the antennae.

One friend of my brother's had the whole setup at home and in his truck.

My dad had a CB in his car, but he also drove charter buses all over the country, so was into it for that reason.

I had a factory installed CB in my first car - 1979 Firebird. (must have been a Smokey & the Bandit thing)
