Anyone here have a full knee replacement?

How long did it take?
How long till you start walking around again?


Very nervous here but I think I might be getting one due to bad right knee

I can't speak for myself, but my mom's husband, Wink, has had both knees replaced. He had one done, then six months/year later had the other. Both day surgeries in/out same day. Left minimal scarring and some minor rehabilitation. Up walking around after a couple of days. No loss of mobility. Able to resume work as a ski instructor that winter. That was ten-fifteen years ago and he's 87 this year, so, he's gotten a lot of mileage out of them.
